At Franchise Pro Limited (“Franchise Pro”) we make every effort to comply with our obligations under the 1998 Data Protection Act and to ensure your privacy is protected. Additionally, we understand the importance of maintaining the confidentiality of your personal information and other information you may give us while using our services.

If you register as a potential franchisee/candidate with Franchise Pro, Franchise Pro will need to obtain some personal information about you, which is stored on Franchise Pro’s computer. This information allows Franchise Pro to provide to you the services specified on this website which Franchise Pro might provide from time to time for potential franchisees who have registered with Franchise Pro.

We give you the option of submitting your contact/personal information, CV etc (“details”) via this website. You can do this either for consideration through our Personal Franchise Assist Programme by our Regional Directors (or any other member of the Franchise Pro team) for franchise opportunities or for a specific advertised franchise. Your details will only be accessible by Franchise Pro group representatives, working both inside and outside the UK. Your details will also be e-mailed directly via a secure database to our Franchise Pro Regional Directors. This database, including the information relating to you, can be accessed by any of our representatives working in other offices of the Franchise Pro group, both inside and outside the UK. You can update your details at any time simply by emailing support@franchisepro.co.uk.
Your main contact details will be sent to prospective franchisors, but only where you give your consent. Such franchisors may be located both inside and outside the UK.

The Information We Collect and How We Use It:

Your personal details, including your name, e-mail address and CV, are held and used by us for the following purposes:
• For matching your requirements and background details with franchise opportunities and to assist us in finding you the opportunity that most suits you.
• For keeping you informed of Franchise Pro services, news and wider developments in your chosen field (including newsletters); If you would rather not receive newsletters, you will be given an opportunity to notify us accordingly.
• For tailoring the version of the franchisepro.co.uk website you see when you log on to make it relevant to you; and/or
• For compiling salary/investment levels and other surveys of our potential franchisees.
• By submitting your details you consent to its use as stated in this policy.

In the event that Franchise Pro agrees to sell or otherwise transfer all or any part of its business to a third party, Franchise Pro may transfer any personal information that it holds about you (including CVs) to that third party.

We may also release information relating to you to regulatory or law enforcement authorities, if required to do so. We also reserve the right to disclose the information we have collected about you to our professional advisors and to other persons to the extent that Franchise Pro contracts out any aspect of the operation of its recruitment agency services. These third parties will be acting under similar undertakings of confidentiality as Franchise Pro.

Other than in these circumstances, we do not and will not disclose your information to third parties without your consent.

Changes to our Privacy Policy:

This privacy policy may be changed by Franchise Pro at any time. If we change our privacy policy in the future, we will set out those changes here, so that you will always know what personal information we gather, the purposes we might use it for and to whom we might disclose it. Franchise Pro recognises that certain individuals who submit personal information to Franchise Pro may wish to be registered with Franchise Pro indefinitely. Similarly, Franchise Pro recognises that certain individuals who upload their details may wish to gain access to that indefinitely. Accordingly, Franchise Pro may (but shall not be obliged to) retain personal information that you upload to Franchise Pro’s computer indefinitely. If you would like Franchise Pro to delete personal information relating to your registration or any CV that you have uploaded please send an email to support@franchisepro.co.uk giving details of your request. Franchise Pro reserves the right not to delete such personal information if there is any legitimate reason why such information ought to be retained by Franchise Pro.

Franchise Pro uses cookies (defined below) by collecting user information for the website. The main objective of the cookies is to identify users and personalise their visit by customising web pages for them. A cookie is a message given to a web browser by a web server.
